Daesung Energy Donates Desk and Chair Sets Worth 20 Million Won to 44 Underprivileged Students in Daegu
The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education will hold a ceremony on July 20 in its reception room to deliver donated desk and chair sets, aimed at improving the learning environment for students from underprivileged backgrounds, in collaboration with Daesung Energy Co., Ltd.
For this initiative, Daesung Energy Co., Ltd. provided desk and chair sets worth a total of 20 million won to 44 students from underprivileged backgrounds. The recipients were selected through school recommendations, targeting students in need of improved learning environments. All items were delivered to the students' homes prior to the ceremony, so they could be used immediately.
Kang Eun-hee, Superintendent of Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education, stated, "Desks and chairs are precious spaces where students prepare for their dreams and plan their futures," and added, "I hope this support enables students to learn in a more stable environment and grow with confidence."
