Pado Posts Q2 Sales of 73.2 Billion Won and Operating Profit of 16.3 Billion Won... Secures Stable Profit Structure
Sales Surge More Than Threefold Year-on-Year
First-Half Cumulative Revenue Nears Total of Previous Two Years
Pado, a company specializing in data center semiconductors, announced on July 20 that it had posted provisional results for the second quarter of this year, recording sales of 73.2 billion won and operating profit of 16.3 billion won.
This represents an increase of approximately 23% compared to first-quarter sales (59.5 billion won), and more than triple the amount from the same period last year. Operating profit also improved significantly, rising about 111% from the previous quarter (7.7 billion won).
The cumulative sales for the first half of the year came to 132.7 billion won, which is close to the combined total sales of the previous two years (2024–2025), which amounted to 139.5 billion won. Cumulative operating profit for the first half reached 24 billion won, laying the foundation for stable profitability. So far this year, Pado has secured new orders worth 340 billion won according to disclosures, and expects its growth trend to continue in the second half of the year, bolstered by the diversification of its global customer base.
In fact, Pado has expanded its presence in the global storage market by attracting new customers, including global server Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). The company continues to grow its supply of its main product, the 'Gen5' controller, and has established an early response system to enable timely delivery of the next-generation product, 'Gen6', to align with the market’s opening phase.
In particular, the enterprise solid-state drive (SSD) controller business is less affected by supply-demand cycles or seasonal factors and is operated based on long-term supply agreements. Accordingly, Pado expects to secure stable revenue and to continue its growth trajectory going forward.

Lee Hyun Nam, CEO of Pado, said, “Having achieved a turnaround to profit in the first quarter, we have established a solid structure for profitability in the second quarter, laying the groundwork for a quantum leap in both sales and profit this year. Given increased sales driven by customer diversification and the strong growth of controllers—a core storage component in the AI semiconductor market—we expect an even greater level of growth in the second half of the year compared to the first half.”
