KITA Accepts Applications for the 63rd Trade Day Export Tower Awards and Trade Contributors’ Commendations

Export Tower Awards, Orders of Industrial Service Merit, and Commendations for Trade Contributors
The Korea International Trade Association announced on the 19th that it will begin accepting online applications for the Export Tower Awards and Trade Contributors’ Commendations from July 20 to August 7, in celebration of the 63rd Trade Day.
The association holds the annual Trade Day (December 5) ceremony together with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. The Export Tower Awards and Trade Contributors’ Commendations are presented to companies that have pioneered overseas markets despite challenging external conditions, and to individuals who have made significant contributions to trade promotion.
The Export Tower Award is open to companies that have exported more than USD 1 million and surpassed their previous export records. For this year, the calculation period for export performance is from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. Not only direct exports, but also service exports, exports of electronic intangible goods, and indirect exports made via purchase confirmation and Local L/C are all recognized.
For Trade Contributors’ Commendations, representatives and employees of export companies are eligible, and a total of 10 types of awards will be presented, including Orders of Industrial Service Merit and Presidential Commendations.
Applications for commendations can be submitted online via the association’s awards website. In particular, the application system is linked with the websites of Korea Trade Network (KTNET) and Korea Trade Statistics Promotion Institute, allowing companies to easily retrieve their indirect export performance data.
