20 In-Flight Meal Orders in Business Class... ‘Inconsiderate Conduct’ Controversy
Mr. A became embroiled in controversy after uploading a mukbang video documenting their experience in business class. In the video, Mr. A was shown making a total of 20 separate in-flight meal and snack orders—including seven bowls of ramen, salad, bread, fruit, sandwiches, cheese, and tiramisu—continuously requesting and eating different items.
Viewers who watched the video criticized the YouTuber, commenting, "The flight attendants can’t refuse out of concern for complaints—this really is an extreme job," "What’s really scary is when someone doesn’t realize they’re being inconsiderate," and "Enough is enough."
One netizen claimed, "Since there was no prior arrangement with the airline, if you only make requests after boarding, attendants are in a powerless position and have no choice but to comply with customer demands. Other passengers must have suffered as well." Others pointed out that if such requests were not discussed in advance, the unexpected orders may have forced flight attendants to give up their own meals.
"I Sought Permission to Film... But Deeply Sorry for Causing Discomfort"
As criticism grew, Mr. A issued an apology, saying, "I was overly focused on creating new content, so after boarding, I asked the flight attendants for permission and thought it would be acceptable as long as they agreed. That’s how I ended up filming this video," adding, "Before filming, I checked with a flight attendant to see if it was possible, and I tried to film mainly during periods when other passengers were having meals or snacks."

"However, even with those steps in place, I did not fully consider that my repeated and excessive in-flight meal requests could place a burden on the flight attendants or cause discomfort to other passengers sharing the same space," he said. "It was certainly a lack of careful judgment on my part not to think this through more thoroughly."
"Regardless of my intentions, I take the fact that I caused discomfort to others very seriously," the YouTuber continued. "From now on, I will never forget that not inconveniencing those around me takes priority over creating entertaining content." He further emphasized, "I will try to be more considerate, and ensure my actions are neither a nuisance to others nor self-centered just for the sake of content."
Mr. A also stated, "I would like to sincerely apologize to the flight attendant who was in charge of my section. I repeatedly made unreasonable requests, which must have been exhausting, yet you treated me with kindness and a smile until the end of the flight. I am truly sorry for having relied so heavily on your professionalism, and I hope you can accept my apology."
