View original imagePark Keumnang, a lawyer in the Healthcare Group (Judicial Research and Training Institute, 31st class), was named one of the "Top 100 Women in Litigation in Asia-Pacific" by Benchmark Litigation. Attorney Park is the co-head of the Healthcare Group at Gwangjang. She has successfully represented the patent holder of blockbuster cardiovascular drugs in more than 100 patent lawsuits filed by dozens of generic drug companies. She was also highly recognized for her contribution to patent protection concerning biologics for chronic inflammation and ophthalmic diseases.
Lee Mi, an attorney (39th class) in the field of fair trade, was also included in Benchmark Litigation's Top 100 Women in Litigation in Asia-Pacific. Attorney Lee has represented both domestic and international companies before the Korea Fair Trade Commission and in court proceedings, handling cases related to cartels, abuse of market dominance, unfair trade practices, and unlawful support activities. She also has experience with domestic and overseas merger filings and has handled numerous appeals against major decisions made by the Korea Fair Trade Commission on behalf of shippers, major platform companies, and both domestic and global corporations.
Kim Jinhoon, an attorney (4th Korean Bar Examination) specializing in construction and real estate, was selected by Benchmark Litigation as one of the "Top 40 Lawyers Under 40 in Asia-Pacific." Attorney Kim recently achieved a victory representing the Banpo Jugong Complex 1 Apartment Redevelopment Association in a lawsuit against Korea Land and Housing Corporation for the registration of transfer of ownership, involving a claim worth approximately KRW 106 billion. Following the system's implementation, a constitutional petition filed by the redevelopment association that Kim represented became the second case to be reviewed on the merits by the full bench of the Constitutional Court.
Lee Eunwoo, an attorney (33rd class) with the IP & Technology Group, was selected by Managing IP as one of the "Top 250 Women in IP" this year. Since joining Gwangjang in 2004, Attorney Lee has triumphed in complex, unprecedented intellectual property disputes, including lawsuits on trademark infringement, a Supreme Court case that set standards for copyright infringement in games, and a case defining the scope of protection for landscape photograph works. She is credited with setting new standards within the industry.
