He also shared the efficacy and safety data of Tavalisse observed in global and Japanese Phase 3 clinical trials.
Professor Kwon Jihyun from Chungbuk National University Hospital presented multinational real-world data, as well as a case in which a domestic patient—previously unresponsive to multiple drug therapies—maintained stable platelet counts in a "long-term treatment-free remission" after discontinuing Tavalisse monotherapy.
On the second day, Professor Choi Taeho from Samsung Medical Center delivered a lecture on "Intravenous Iron Therapy in Patients with Cancer-Induced Anemia (CIA)." Professor Lee Hyunjung from Kyung Hee University Medical Center introduced Actemra as an effective therapy for cytokine release syndrome (CRS), which can occur during CAR-T cell and bispecific antibody cancer treatments.
JW Pharmaceutical plans to continue academic exchanges based on treatment guidelines and clinical data for each product and expand the sharing of treatment strategies and medical information that can be referenced in various medical settings.
