LEGO Group Unveils New Product Themed After Gustav Klimt's Masterpiece 'The Kiss'
Collaboration with Austria’s Belvedere Museum
LEGO Group announced on July 16 that it will launch the "LEGO Art Gustav Klimt - The Kiss," themed after the masterpiece "The Kiss" by Austrian painter Gustav Klimt, on August 4.
This new product was created through a collaboration with the Belvedere Museum in Vienna, Austria, which houses the original painting of "The Kiss." Among the LEGO Art Masterpiece series, it uses a record 4,000 bricks to recreate the lovers embracing atop a flower field. The set includes a brick engraved with Gustav Klimt's signature and wall-mounting parts, allowing the completed work to be displayed like an actual masterpiece.
