Artist Company Appoints IP Commerce and New Business Expert Park Seunghyun as CEO
Artist Company has appointed Executive Director Park Seunghyun as its new CEO.
According to Artist Company on July 16, this executive decision reflects a strategic move to advance beyond its existing management and content production-focused business structure and to begin actively expanding its IP business by turning intellectual property into high value-added ventures.
CEO Park is an expert in IP commercialization and new business strategy. He was the co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of By4M Studio, a comprehensive content company, and has accumulated roughly 14 years of experience in new business planning and strategic work at major companies such as Kia Motors, CJ ENM, and By4M Studio, gaining diverse expertise across various industries.
So far, the company has strengthened its management and content production capabilities based on artist IP. Moving forward, it plans to cultivate its ability to commercialize IP and directly connect it to business operations and revenue as a core driver of growth. Beginning with the launch of a commerce brand in the second half of this year, the company will sequentially pursue various new businesses based on IP, including cosmetics and food & beverages (F&B).
CEO Park will oversee mid- to long-term growth strategies and the overall direction of new businesses, and will drive IP planning and expansion strategies in response to changing content consumption trends. Through this, the company aims to enhance the marketability and scalability of content IP and to establish a differentiated IP value chain.
