Seogwangju Post Office (headed by Kim Kihong) and Salem Disabled Community (led by Reverend Koh Yojoo) announced on July 15 that they have signed a "Post Office Public Interest Insurance (Ten Thousand Won Happiness Insurance)" business agreement to promote the welfare of disabled people in the local community.
This agreement was established to provide vulnerable groups, who have been excluded from various insurance benefits due to economic hardship, with the opportunity to enroll in the Post Office Public Interest Insurance and to help them prepare for unforeseen disasters and accidents.

Its flagship product, the "Ten Thousand Won Happiness Insurance," operates on a model where subscribers only pay 10,000 won, while the remaining premiums are supported by the public interest funds of the Post Office.
Insurance policyholders are expected to receive various guaranteed benefits, such as hospital expenses due to accidents, surgical fees, and consolation payments for bereaved families, which will help reduce the economic burden on vulnerable groups and contribute to their financial stability.
