Hyoroung Senior Welfare Town Supports Health with Samgyetang Sharing on Chobok

Samgyetang Served to Over 1,000 Seniors
On July 15th, Chobok, the scent of Samgyetang filled Hyoroung Senior Welfare Town in Gwangju. In anticipation of the hot weather, the welfare town served Samgyetang to around 1,000 elderly individuals, supporting them in having a healthy summer.
The event was attended by Assemblywoman Jeon Jin-Sook (Buk-gu-eul, Jeonnam Gwangju Metropolitan Unified City) and Mrs. Lee Taerin (spouse of former Prime Minister Kim Minseok), who greeted the seniors and wished them good health.
Jung Kyungnam, the head of Hyoroung Senior Welfare Town, stated, "I hope you replenish your energy and enjoy a healthy summer with the Samgyetang prepared for Chobok," adding, "We will continue our efforts to enhance the health and happiness of our seniors."

After the meal, Cho Chun-Sik (84) said, "Every year on Chobok, the Samgyetang prepared with care always gives me great strength. Thanks to this, I think I can stay healthy this summer as well."
