This project represents the first commercial sales initiative for GS Global's cosmetic business. The company plans to leverage its experience in the Japanese market as a foundation to build a global beauty distribution platform.
Prior to the official launch, GS Global showcased products and brands focused on Talitha Koum and Pretty Actually at the 'Cosmekitchen 2026 Autumn Exhibition,' which was held in Tokyo, Japan, from July 8 to 9.
Cosmekitchen is a premium beauty select shop operated by Marsh Beauty Lab, an affiliate of the Japanese lifestyle company Marsh Group, and currently operates around 70 stores nationwide in Japan.
GS Global views this initiative not merely as an export business but as the starting point for building a 'K-beauty global distribution platform.' The company will directly manage the entire distribution process—from discovering brands and product planning, to export, local certifications, inventory operations, and sales data analysis—in order to support the overseas expansion of domestic indie brands.
In addition, GS Global plans to expand the business from Japan to regions such as Europe, the Middle East, and Indonesia.
For this project, GS Global headquarters is responsible for brand discovery and business development, while GS Japan, its local subsidiary, oversees local distribution and operations.
