Recruitment of SMEs for Online Export Joint Logistics Support Program
Up to 30 Million Won in Support for E-Commerce Export Logistics
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on July 16 that it will begin recruiting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to participate in the "Online Export SME Logistics Support Program."
This program was established to reduce logistics costs for SMEs that export through e-commerce. It provides partial financial support for expenses incurred when utilizing fulfillment services—which handle all logistics processes frequently used by SMEs—or when using local logistics-related services at overseas logistics centers operated by Busan Port Authority.
Specifically, if a company uses a fulfillment service—where a private logistics company handles storage, packaging, shipping, delivery, and returns of products as part of order fulfillment—the program will cover up to 70 percent of the related costs, with a cap of 30 million won per company.
In addition, if products are stored in overseas logistics centers operated by Busan Port Authority or if local logistics services such as delivery are used, up to 70 percent of the costs will also be supported, with a maximum of 30 million won per company.

Shim Jae-yoon, Director General for Global Growth Policy at the Ministry, stated, "Due to the recent deterioration of the international logistics environment, such as the ongoing Middle East conflict, logistics burdens for many online exporters have increased significantly." He added, "We expect this program will help address the difficulties faced by export-oriented SMEs and contribute to opening new export channels to more diverse regions."
