The Haman Museum in South Gyeongsang Province held a "Larchiveum Practical Experience" training program for students from the History Department at Pusan National University from July 14 to 15.
This training was part of an on-site internship program hosted by the Pusan National University RISE Project Group. It was designed to allow students to directly experience curatorial work at the museum, as well as the process of preserving and utilizing cultural heritage.

On the first day, students toured Exhibition Halls 1 and 2 at the Haman Museum and attended special lectures on "What a Museum Curator Does" and "Utilization and Content Development of Cultural Heritage." Next, they visited the museum storage facility to learn about the preservation and management of collections, gaining hands-on understanding of curatorial work.
On the second day, students participated in practical exercises in handling cultural heritage at the "Yedamgo in the Yeongnam region," including artifact excavation, joining, and making rubbings. Afterwards, they visited major historical and cultural sites in Haman such as the Marisan Tumuli, the Gayari Site, and the Goridong Ruins.
Through this program, the Haman Museum introduced the concept of "Larchiveum," which encompasses research, preservation, exhibition, and education functions of a museum, and showcased the diverse work of curatorial researchers.
