Job Support Council Held with Employment Agencies and Companies
As labor shortages persist among companies in the Jeonbuk region, the Jeonju Chamber of Commerce and Industry brought together employment-related organizations and companies to share the challenges faced on the ground and discuss possible support measures.

The event was attended by representatives from employment support organizations such as the Jeonju Employment and Labor Office, Jeonbuk Campus of Korea Polytechnics, Jeonbuk Senior Tomorrow Center, and Camtic Comprehensive Technology Institute, as well as officials from Hyundai Motor Company Jeonju Plant and Pulmuone Danone Co., Ltd.
Participants shared recent labor market trends in the Jeonbuk region and exchanged various opinions focusing on the challenges companies face in securing manpower on site. They also introduced company support programs run by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and related organizations, and discussed both customized support measures that companies can feel on the ground and ways to strengthen cooperative systems between institutions.
At the council, participants reached consensus on the need to link support programs to address workforce supply difficulties faced by companies, share job-related policies by institution, and establish a field-oriented cooperation system.
