The "Shinhan SOL Cluster" is a regional financial platform that discovers companies based on strategic local industries and provides comprehensive support, ranging from the diagnosis of funding needs to the implementation of financial support, policy finance, and the coordination of group affiliates. Going beyond simple loan support for individual businesses, the platform seeks to proactively identify high-potential companies and new projects by monitoring industrial changes and investment plans in the region.
In particular, "Shinhan SOL Cluster Jeonnam Gwangju" has selected artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, future mobility, and energy as its core industries for support. Depending on the stage of growth and business characteristics of these innovation sector companies, Shinhan Financial will provide support through a range of financial services, including operating funds, facility investment, supply chain and export finance, as well as investment banking, capital market solutions, and corporate consulting.
To this end, Shinhan Bank has deployed specialized relationship managers (RMs) with expertise in industry and corporate finance, along with professional credit officers from the corporate loan screening department, to the field. Together with the regional headquarters and local branches, these teams will identify companies, review funding needs and risks from the initial consulting phase, and, when necessary, liaise with specialist departments at headquarters, other group companies, and policy finance institutions to enhance the effectiveness of financial support.
