Over 600 Corporate Training Managers Attend
CEO Cho Youngtak: "We Will Lead the APL Era"

Hunet has declared its transformation into an “AI Powered Learning (APL)” company and unveiled a variety of AI-based learning solutions.

On July 15, at the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Hunet hosted the “AI Powered Learning FESTA (APL Festa)” event, presenting AI-driven learning solutions including its core platform, LABS. Over 600 corporate HR and training managers attended the event to explore the changing landscape of corporate education in the age of AI and directly experience key solutions developed in-house by Hunet.

Prior to the main event, CEO Jo Youngtak delivered a presentation at a press conference under the theme “The Future of Corporate Training Transformed by AI,” introducing Hunet’s APL vision and strategy.

He said, “With the advent of AI, we are moving from an era where everyone receives the same education to an era where each individual is provided with the learning they need most, at the right time. By combining 27 years’ worth of corporate training data and expertise with AI technology, Hunet will deliver hyper-personalized, tailored learning experiences to learners and provide education that drives tangible outcomes for companies.”

The newly introduced LABS is described as a Learning Experience Platform (LXP) that advances the core infrastructure of corporate online training centers through AI. Whereas traditional training centers offered uniform education and managed all employees in a one-size-fits-all system, LABS has evolved into an AI-powered corporate training platform that analyzes each employee’s competencies and learning history while supporting HR managers in their operations and performance management.

With LABS, learners receive recommendations for the most essential learning opportunities thanks to AI analysis based on over 22,000 differentiated skill data points by job category and their personal learning history and competencies. This sets them free from uniform educational routes, offering customized learning and growth paths tailored to their specific roles and competency levels.

HR and training managers can design courses, operate programs, analyze the organization’s aggregate skill profile, and manage performance—all tasks previously handled across multiple systems—within the single LABS platform, with AI as a collaborator. This makes it possible to manage the entire corporate learning process more efficiently and to oversee organizational competency and education outcomes through data-driven methods.

During the APL Festa, Dale Johnson, Executive Director of Digital Innovation at Arizona State University (ASU), delivered a video lecture. He emphasized, “The core of future education is not mass standardization but mass personalization,” adding that “AI is the key technology to provide the right learning to the right person at the right moment.”

The event hall featured booths where key AI learning solutions, including LABS, “Iron (AI Coach),” “Learning Maker (Hybrid Learning Solution),” “AI Powered Case Study (Decision-Making Training),” and “Turning Point Cube (Leadership Assessment)” could be directly experienced.

In particular, the “Skill Galaxy” demonstration allowed attendees to enter their job roles so that AI could recommend relevant skills and learning content tailored to them. Additionally, at the “AI Role-Playing” experience zone, visitors could practice real work scenarios with AI and receive instant feedback, offering a firsthand look at how AI is transforming learning methods.

CEO Jo added, “Hunet will continue to be the first to apply AI technology to educational settings, leading the APL era and setting new standards in corporate training.”
