Truck Collision on Gwangju-Daegu Expressway in Hamyang Leaves Man in His 50s Dead

At around 4:55 a.m. on July 15, two 4.5-ton trucks collided in the second lane heading toward Daegu on the Gwangju-Daegu Expressway in Sudong-myeon, Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam.
According to the police, it was determined that a truck driven by a man in his 50s, referred to as Mr. A, crashed into the rear of another truck, also driven by a man in his 50s, identified as Mr. B, which was traveling ahead.
As a result of the accident, Mr. A sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital in cardiac arrest, but ultimately passed away.
