On July 18, the “2026 Gangwon International Motor Festa” will open at Inje Speedium in Gangwon, offering a one-stop experience of top-tier domestic and international motorsports, live performances, and camping. All eyes are on whether it will establish itself as a representative summer festival that combines auto racing, performances, and stay-type tourism.
According to Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province on the 15th, the “2026 Gangwon International Motor Festa” will be held at Inje Speedium starting from the 18th. First launched in 2018, the event aims to popularize motorsports and revitalize local tourism, and has expanded its scale each year. This year, the festival significantly enhanced not only the races but also performance and camping content.
The highlight of the event is the “2026 O-NE Superrace Championship,” the most prestigious automobile race in Korea. Top drivers from Korea and abroad will engage in thrilling nighttime battles on the Inje Speedium’s uniquely undulating circuit.
Of particular note, the world-renowned one-make race “Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia” will be held concurrently, drawing much attention. Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2 machines will roar through the night circuit, delivering intense exhaust notes and explosive performances.
Off the circuit, drift show runs by drivers Park Si-hyun and Lee Sanghwa, both active on the international drifting scene, will provide an added spectacle. Their stunning high-difficulty maneuvers—sliding vehicles through corners—will offer visitors a unique visual experience.
At night, an EDM party with famous Korean DJs and a spectacular fireworks display will follow. As music, lights, and nighttime racing come together, the entire Inje Speedium area will be transformed into a massive outdoor festival venue.
A “1 Night, 2 Days Camping Zone” will also be available for visitors. Attendees can enjoy races and performances during the day, camp at night, and savor the natural beauty of Inje, making for a unique experience that blends motorsports and travel.
For the convenience of visitors from outside the region, shuttle bus services will be provided. Routes will connect Inje Speedium with major terminals including Hoehyeon Station, Sadang Station, and Sports Complex Station in Seoul, as well as intercity bus terminals in Sokcho, Wonju, and Chuncheon in Gangwon Province. Information on schedule and reservations is available via NOL Ticket.
