Moving forward, he will oversee the entire investment system based on his independent investment perspective and deep-tech expertise."
Park, the new Vice President, has experience as both an engineer and a venture capitalist (VC), as well as at deep-tech startups, giving him a dual background in investment and entrepreneurship. While serving as an associate at BonAngels Venture Partners, he made the first institutional investments in Vuno, a medical AI company, and Nearthlab, an AI-enabled autonomous drone company. Later, he joined Nearthlab as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), helping lead the company's expansion into over 30 countries and securing investments totaling 30 billion won.
Venture Partner Sangwon Lee, who was recently recruited, co-founded Qeexo, a machine-learning-based deep-tech company in Silicon Valley, and later sold it to global electronics giant TDK. He is expected to actively support Mashup Ventures' portfolio companies in their go-to-market (GTM) efforts in the U.S. market and in securing subsequent investment rounds.
EIR Hoon Seok is a former certified public accountant at Samil PwC and a serial entrepreneur who has contributed to the growth of companies such as Zigbang and Houzer. As Zigbang's co-founder and CSO, he led the company's growth and scaling-up initiatives. Subsequently, he has served as CFO for several companies, leading critical growth stages such as fundraising, business operations, M&A, and post-merger integration (PMI).
