KB Financial organizes the Group AI and Data Innovation Seminar every six months, sharing actual use cases and the latest technologies to accelerate the spread of AX.

In this seminar, KB Financial showcased its leading innovation cases where AI agents and data were applied to work, all based on its AI strategy "KB With AI." The event was broadcast live via YouTube to all subsidiaries, and experience booths were available for employees. Participants had the opportunity to try out new AI and data-driven work innovation examples such as "KB DAVIS" and "AI Dev Center."

KB DAVIS is a "personalized AI data analysis agent" that, when prompted with everyday language, finds the necessary data, analyzes it, and provides a visualized report. It was highlighted as a useful case that automates the complex process of data analysis, enabling everyone to easily make data-driven decisions.

The AI Dev Center is a new integrated development environment where AI agents participate in every stage of development. When a developer presents requirements, multiple AI agents handle design, coding, testing, and more. Developers focus on validating results and managing quality, representing a new collaborative culture between humans and AI in software development.

Latest generative AI technologies and industry-specific AI use cases from domestic and international AI companies—including Google Korea, RYUTEN Technologies, Upstage, and Tinapse—were also shared. The seminar provided a wide range of insights, from strategies for ensuring AI security and reliability, which are essential in the financial sector, to AX cases.

During the seminar, KB Kookmin Merchant Revitalization Index, developed using financial data from KB Kookmin Bank and KB Kookmin Card, was also presented. This index analyzes commercial district data—such as financial data, sales figures, and opening and closing information—using AI, and serves as a business district analysis service that diagnoses the competitiveness and growth potential of major commercial areas nationwide. It is being used to support small business owners and to establish policies for local economic revitalization.

Additionally, KB Financial launched the KB AI Lab, a practical program for nurturing core AI talent. KB AI Lab is a project-oriented talent development initiative for employees who have completed the highest level (AI Expert) of the group's AI education curriculum, KB AI Academy. Participants will directly identify real work assignments and implement AI services that are applicable to actual business tasks.

The program consists of two weeks of intensive training followed by about ten weeks of hands-on project work, all aligned with actual service development processes. Trainees gain experience in both problem-solving and service development within their fields. After the project, graduates return to their departments, continuing to improve the outcomes and playing a key role in spreading the AI work culture throughout the group.

KB Financial plans to gradually expand the KB AI Lab to all its subsidiaries based on this initial operation, continuously strengthening practical AI capabilities throughout the organization.

Yang Jonghee, Chairman of KB Financial Group, said, "In the AI era, every experience becomes data, and those who make the best use of that data become truly competitive. We will spare no effort in education and talent development so that KB Financial can be the cradle of AI talent. We will actively support all employees to continuously learn and grow and create new value together with AI."

A KB Financial representative stated, "KB With AI is a strategy to use AI not as a technology to replace human roles, but as a collaborator to create greater value together. Moving forward, KB Financial will continue to deliver better financial services to customers through AI and data-driven work innovation."
