"We Will Use the Samsung C&T Platform"...HJ Heavy Industries’ Haemoro Also Adopts 'Homenick'
Expansion of Smart Residential Services
Collaboration with 18 Construction Companies
Samsung C&T Engineering & Construction Group’s smart home platform, “Homenick,” is expanding its presence to apartment complexes built by other companies. The service, which had previously been available only in the company’s own Raemian-branded residences, will now be rolled out to 18 different construction companies.
On July 15, Samsung C&T announced that it had signed a business agreement with HJ Heavy Industries. Under this partnership, Samsung C&T will provide its smart home application-based service, “Haemoro by Homenick,” to HJ Heavy Industries’ apartment brand “Haemoro” in newly supplied complexes.

Residents of these complexes will be able to manage every aspect of their daily life from a single smartphone app, “Haemoro by Homenick.” Core functions include an Internet of Things (IoT) system for remote control of lighting and heating. Residents will also be able to reserve community facilities, check maintenance fees, register visitor vehicles, and monitor energy consumption—all within one interface. The two companies also plan to jointly implement artificial intelligence (AI) parking services, a renewable energy integrated monitoring system (REMS), and floor impact noise reduction solutions in new developments.
Samsung C&T has chosen to open up its self-developed platform and foster a broader service ecosystem. Rather than incurring massive costs for independent platform development, construction companies have found it efficient to adopt a proven, large-scale system to enhance residential quality. At present, 18 companies—including SK Ecoplant, Hanwha, Doosan Engineering & Construction, HS Hwaseong, Woomee Construction, and Hoban Construction—have adopted Homenick.
Myungseok Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Housing Product Marketing at Samsung C&T, stated, “By providing the ‘Haemoro by Homenick’ service to residents, we will help HJ Heavy Industries create premium residential spaces.”
