Hite Jinro Launches Limited Edition 'Ilpoom Jinro Aged Series'

Hite Jinro announced on July 15 that it will be offering the "Ilpoom Jinro 26 Years Aged," crafted with 100% original spirits aged for 26 years in oak barrels, as a limited edition of 7,500 bottles.
Since 2018, Hite Jinro has released a limited edition of Ilpoom Jinro aged soju each year, beginning with "Ilpoom Jinro 18 Years Aged." The Ilpoom Jinro 26 Years Aged is made by distilling 100% pure rice mash to produce a clean spirit, which is then matured for over 26 years in oak barrels. The company focused on ensuring optimal temperature and humidity and periodically rotating the location of the barrels to preserve the best aroma and flavor.
The new product features the rich, umami flavor unique to rice-based spirits, enhanced by oak barrel aging, delivering a harmonious blend of smokiness with a deep and smooth sweetness reminiscent of vanilla, cherry, and chocolate liqueur. Each package is assigned a limited number from 1 to 7,500, adding to its exclusivity.
Ilpoom Jinro 26 Years Aged will be available at restaurants, eateries, and hotels. For general consumers, advance reservations will be accepted on the limited edition trading platform KREAM from 11 a.m. on July 22 to 11 a.m. on July 24. Purchases will be offered to 100 individuals selected through a lottery, with each person given the opportunity to buy one bottle.
