Hyundai Unveils '2027 Casper and Casper Electric' Starting at Low 20 Million Won Range

On July 15, Hyundai Motor Company announced the launch of the enhanced '2027 Casper' and '2027 Casper Electric', which feature improved convenience.
The company has increased the overall product appeal by making popular convenience features standard for each trim level. The Casper now includes a push-button start and smart key, remote engine start with the smart key, and a first-row button-type outside door handle as standard beginning with the Smart trim. The Essential trim comes standard with a front passenger safety power window.
For the Casper Electric, the Premium trim comes equipped with a Hi-pass integrated toll system as a standard feature, while both the Inspiration and Cross trims come with Digital Key 2 Touch, wireless smartphone charging, and a first-row touch-type outside door handle as standard.
The retail prices for the Casper are as follows: Smart trim at 15.46 million won, Essential trim at 17.92 million won, and Inspiration trim at 20.35 million won. The van variants are priced at 14.7 million won for the Smart model and 15.7 million won for the Smart Choice model. Prices for the Casper Electric are: Premium at 28.47 million won, Inspiration at 32.12 million won, Cross at 34.12 million won, and Lounge at 34.57 million won.
Based on the Seoul region, when factoring in government and local subsidies, the price of the Casper Electric Premium trim is expected to fall in the low 20 million won range.
