The lectures will be held in the following order: July 26 with JTBC anchor Minyong Han presenting "A Woman Who Goes to Work Through the News Every Day"; August 28 with Min-kyung Kim, editor of the Overseas Literature Team at Minumsa, presenting "The Ultimate Latecomer Who Follows Fun to Find Her Way"; and September 12 with musician and author Yozoh presenting "Singer, Writer, Bookstore Owner—The World of Yozoh."

Anchor Minyong Han will share her journey from her time studying abroad, through her career as a journalist, to becoming a news anchor, and discuss the roles and responsibilities she has contemplated during her time in the news field. Editor Min-kyung Kim will speak about how, after preparing for many years to be a journalist, she changed her path to become an editor, and will share her experiences of choosing her work by prioritizing what she finds enjoyable.

Yozoh, who debuted as a singer in 2007 and later expanded into writing and operating a bookstore, will introduce how she has linked music, writing, and space together, drawing on her experience of running the independent bookstore ‘Chaekbang Musa’ for over ten years.

The Gangdong Cultural Foundation explained that this series sheds light on the decisions and transitions of women who have created their own paths instead of following set definitions of success. Applications and detailed information can be found on the Gangdong Public Library website.

Youngho Kim, CEO of the Gangdong Cultural Foundation, said, "This lecture series focuses not on pre-packaged stories of success, but on the process of forging one’s path through choices and trial and error in everyday life. We hope these stories encourage citizens to reflect on what kind of work and life they truly want, rather than simply adhering to standards set by society."
