The Gyeongnam Office of Education will host the 16th University Admission Fair at the Changwon Convention Center (CECO) on July 18, 2026.
The fair will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the same day, with participation from 92 universities across the country and five institutions: the Korea Student Aid Foundation, the Out-of-School Youth Support Center, the Korea Educational Broadcasting System (EBS), the Gyeongnam Career Education Institute, and the Audit Office of the Gyeongnam Office of Education.
During the event, up-to-date college admission information will be provided to 8,210 pre-registered participants, as well as to local students and parents who register on-site.
In particular, to address the rapidly changing college admissions environment and evolving application processes, a total of eight themed zones will be operated: the University PR Zone, Admission Counseling Zone for 12th graders, Admission Counseling Zone for 10th and 11th graders, University Information Session Zone, College Entrance Exam Special Lecture Zone, 2028 Admission Preparation Zone, University Admission Strategy Zone, and Special Programs Zone.
At the University PR Zone, 89 university admissions officers will offer one-on-one consultations for students and parents, providing information on each university’s admission process, majors, and more.
At the Admission Counseling Zones, college admission specialists and teachers specializing in career and college counseling will provide tailored advice, taking into account each student’s academic records and career aspirations.
The University Information Session Zone, expanded in scale compared to last year, will feature detailed explanations of entrance requirements from major universities in Seoul as well as regional universities and will also include a session on EBS study strategies.
Additionally, there will be specialized lectures for teachers on various topics related to the college admissions process and guidance strategies.
