Foreign Currency Account Linkage Event Until September 13
KB Kookmin Bank announced on July 14 that it will expand the number of foreign currencies available for transactions with the KB Travelers Check Card, a product specialized for overseas travel, from one currency—the US dollar—to 11 currencies.
Japanese yen, euro, Chinese yuan, Hong Kong dollar, Australian dollar, Singapore dollar, British pound, Canadian dollar, Swiss franc, and New Zealand dollar have been newly added.
An event is also underway in which, if customers designate a foreign currency account as the payment account for the check card and make payments by September 13, they will receive a gift.
Customers who maintain an average balance of 3,000 dollars or more in their foreign currency accounts will be eligible for a raffle, where 1,000 winners will receive two airport lounge passes each.
