On July 14, Anseong City announced that a group of 13 Vietnamese buyers, who visited Korea at the invitation of Anseong City Ginseng Agricultural Cooperative, toured ginseng production sites and major agricultural production and processing facilities in the Anseong area from July 9 to 10.

This visit was organized to broaden the export base of excellent regional agricultural specialties, including Anseong ginseng, to Vietnam, and to introduce the high quality and systematic safety management system of Anseong agricultural products to local buyers.

The Vietnamese buyers first visited an advanced ginseng cultivation farm in Anseong to observe the cultivation environment and production process. They then toured the Anseong Ginseng Agricultural Cooperative processing plant, equipped with state-of-the-art hygiene facilities, thoroughly inspecting the post-harvest management, processing, and packaging procedures.

They also visited the Anseong Agricultural Technology Center, where they learned about local agricultural technical support systems and quality management systems, confirming firsthand that Anseong agricultural products are meticulously managed from production to distribution.

The buyer group also visited Hope Green Foods and Ace Mzyme, leading export companies in the area, where they experienced products firsthand and discussed ways to cooperate on exports with company representatives. The buyers reportedly showed great interest in the competitive quality, safety management system, and variety of processed food products made from Anseong ginseng.
