Daedong Projects 130 Billion Won in Parts Sales This Year, Up 30% from Last Year
Strengthening Recurring Revenue with AI
Targeting 300 Billion Won by 2030
On July 14, Daedong announced that sales from its parts business are expected to expand to approximately 130 billion won in 2026, up 30% from the previous year. The regional sales mix is projected to be around 30% domestic and 70% overseas. Daedong's parts business sales reached about 81 billion won in 2024 and grew by 24% to nearly 100 billion won in 2025.
This growth in the parts business is due to the company advancing the distribution of autonomous farming equipment and operational management services based on its artificial intelligence (AI) agricultural platform, as well as strengthening its foundation for recurring sales in parts and aftermarket operations. Daedong's AI agricultural platform offers an integrated operation system that connects every stage of the farming process — from agricultural data collection and AI-based farming decisions to autonomous operations and equipment management. Leveraging this foundation, Daedong is expanding its service-oriented business model to maintain ongoing relationships with customers post-sale through parts replacement, routine inspections, and software updates.
The company cited several key drivers of growth in line with its AI agricultural platform business strategy over the past two to three years: strengthening service policies; expanding domestic and international service channels; reinforcing its global supply chain; broadening its product lineup; and enhancing AI-based equipment management.
Looking ahead, Daedong aims to achieve 300 billion won in parts business sales by 2030 through expansion of autonomous equipment distribution, AI-based equipment management services, and the establishment of parts demand forecasting and predictive maintenance systems.
