This agreement is designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) struggling in the current high-interest and high-inflation environment, and to help establish an inclusive finance ecosystem. It aims to achieve this by utilizing 'Nomubee.com,' the electronic payment system operated by NICE DNR, to prevent delays in wage and payment settlements in the construction, shipbuilding, and manufacturing industries.
Through this agreement, both companies will integrate KB Kookmin Bank's financial infrastructure with NICE DNR's platform management expertise to establish a joint cooperation system for small and medium-sized partner companies and their workers. By introducing a trust-based system to the 'KB Subcontractor Keeper Account,' they will ensure that construction payments can be made securely without the risk of seizure or garnishment, and by providing escrow services, further strengthen the protection of business-to-business transaction payments. As a result, workers are also expected to have reduced concerns regarding wage payment delays.
