"Draw on the Plane"... Jeju Air to Hold Skyway Drawing Contest
Two Weeks from August 1 to 15
Open to Children Ages 5 to 13
Round-Trip Flight Tickets Awarded to Winners
Jeju Air announced on July 14 that it will hold the "10th Skyway Drawing Contest" for its young passengers from August 1 to August 15.
The "Skyway Drawing Contest," Jeju Air's flagship customer participation program, has been held continuously since 2017. Targeting children aged 5 to 13, it aims to create special travel memories for family travelers on board Jeju Air flights.
This year's contest will take place on the following routes popular among family travelers: domestic routes from Gimpo, Busan, Gwangju, Cheongju, Daegu, and Incheon to Jeju; Incheon to Macau, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Bohol, Cebu, and Saipan; and Busan to Bohol. Participating children are invited to freely draw around the theme "My Dearest Friend with Jeju Air." No separate registration is required; children may use the drawing paper and colored pencils provided in-flight to create their artwork during the journey and submit it to the cabin crew.
For Jeju-bound flights, where the flight time is relatively short, only drawing paper will be provided on board. Children can complete their artwork during their stay in Jeju and submit it at Jeju Air’s lounge, "Lounge J," located near Jeju International Airport.
All entries will be judged fairly, and every award winner will receive a certificate from Jeju Air's CEO and Jeju Air X Sanrio Characters merchandise. Additionally, the Gold Prize winner (1 person) will receive four round-trip international flight tickets, Silver Prize winners (3 people) will receive two round-trip international flight tickets each, and Bronze Prize winners (5 people) will receive two round-trip domestic flight tickets each.
The Gold, Silver, and Bronze Prize winning artworks will be featured in Jeju Air’s fourth quarter Air Café magazine. Special gifts, such as pencil cases and keyrings made using the winning designs, will also be given to the winners. In particular, the Gold Prize artwork will be used as the exterior design for a ramp bus operating inside Jeju International Airport, to be unveiled to airport visitors. The contest results will be announced on September 2 on the Jeju Air website.
