Jarame Technology Signs XGS-PON Semiconductor Supply Contract Worth 1.3 Billion Won
Additional Order Secured Just Two Weeks After First Mass Production Order
Jarame Technology, a fabless system semiconductor (SoC) design specialist, announced on July 14 that it has received an additional mass production order worth approximately 1.3 billion won for XGS-PON application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs). This order comes just two weeks after securing its first mass production order at the end of last month.
The counterparty to the contract is Arrow Global Supply Chain Services (hereafter Arrow), a global electronic component distribution and sourcing specialist, which serves as a component procurement partner for a major European global telecommunications equipment company. All XGS-PON semiconductor orders received through Arrow will be used exclusively in this telecommunications equipment company’s products.
The contract amount represents 12.2% of Jarame Technology’s annual sales last year (10.6 billion won). The contract period runs from July 11, 2026, through April 26, 2027, and the supply regions include Europe and North America.
Thus far, mass production orders have been for a single model developed by the client company. The client is currently working on product development across multiple models to replace its existing, commercially sourced chips with those from Jarame Technology. The company expects that as development of additional models is completed sequentially during the second half of the year, the scale and frequency of orders will increase.
Jarame Technology’s XGS-PON semiconductor is a key system chip that manages data transmission and reception, enabling multiple subscribers to share a single optical communication network. It supports next-generation wired communication technology with upstream and downstream transmission speeds of up to 10Gbps.

A Jarame Technology representative stated, “Receiving an additional order just two weeks after the first demonstrates that the client’s products using our chips are performing well in the market,” adding, “As the number of applicable models increases, both the scale and cycle of orders will grow, and we will provide a stable supply system in line with the client’s product development schedule.”
