The Joint Assessment of Local Governments is a system in which the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and central administrative agencies comprehensively evaluate the performance of major national policies and government-funded projects for 17 cities and provinces nationwide, in accordance with the Basic Act on Government Performance Evaluation.
Based on the results of the government’s joint assessment, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province evaluates the achievement rate of quantitative indicators, the contribution to qualitative indicators, and the efforts made by the 18 cities and counties within the province to select outstanding cities and counties.
Wonju City achieved the targets for 75 out of a total of 82 linked indicators, recording an achievement rate of 91.4%.
