KOSDAQ Association Donates "Miso Sarang Sponsorship Fund" to Support Vulnerable Children
The KOSDAQ Association (President Lee Donghoon) announced that it has donated 371 million won in "Miso Sarang Sponsorship Funds" to support children and vulnerable groups who are unable to receive treatment due to financial hardship.
This sponsorship fund will be delivered to 16 hospitals and social welfare organizations nationwide, including Seoul National University Children's Hospital, Yonsei University Medical Center, Hallym Burn Foundation, Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, Seoul Metropolitan Children's Hospital, and Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation. The donation will be used for various support programs, such as providing medical expenses for children from vulnerable groups and enhancing their welfare.
The "Miso Sarang Sponsorship Fund" is a flagship social contribution project that the KOSDAQ Association carries out every year together with KOSDAQ-listed companies. It was established to offer practical assistance to children struggling with high medical costs and to fulfill corporate social responsibility.
Since 2006, the KOSDAQ Association has delivered a total of 3.66 billion won in sponsorship funds, continuing its support for the treatment, healthy growth, and welfare improvement of children who fall through the cracks in the healthcare system.
Lee Donghoon, President of the KOSDAQ Association, stated, "I hope the warm sharing from KOSDAQ-listed companies will give hope to children in need," and added, "We will continue to practice corporate social responsibility and promote a culture of sharing through various social contribution activities."
