IBK Industrial Bank of Korea to Nurture 103 Innovative Startups Through 'IBK Changgong' in Second Half
IBK Industrial Bank of Korea announced on July 13 that it has selected a total of 103 innovative startups for the second half of 2026 through its startup acceleration platform, IBK Changgong, and will begin its startup nurturing program.
The selected companies will join six regular centers nationwide and the UNIST camp. The cohort includes startups across a range of fields with strong technological capabilities and innovative potential, such as semiconductor process analysis, wireless power system development, private space services, wearable medical devices, and artificial intelligence (AI) security platforms. IBK Changgong will hold entrance ceremonies at each center sequentially throughout this week, and then operate a five-month startup nurturing program.

Each selected company will receive customized support, including the establishment of growth strategies based on in-depth diagnostics by expert groups, one-on-one dedicated mentoring, commercialization consulting, and investor relations (IR) pitching training. The bank will also provide investment and financing support through the IBK Financial Group and facilitate connections to domestic and international venture capital investments. In addition, IBK will offer both financial and non-financial services such as open innovation partnerships with large and mid-sized enterprises to help startups find new markets, as well as global acceleration programs for those seeking to expand overseas. A representative from IBK Industrial Bank of Korea stated, "We hope that IBK Changgong will serve as a foundation for the qualitative growth of the selected startups," adding, "We will continue to make efforts to vitalize the startup ecosystem going forward."
