On July 13, SAMG Entertainment announced that it will hold a grand opening for the 'The Teenieping' brand store at One Grove on July 17. This store follows the flagship The Teenieping Seongsu and the shop-in-shop-format The Teenieping Mini (located in Jamsil and Cheongnyangni), and is part of the company’s strategy to expand its offline retail spaces.
The Teenieping One Grove location will cover approximately 200 square meters and has been established in a mixed-use commercial area that attracts a diverse lifestyle consumer base. One Grove is frequented by office workers from nearby business districts during weekdays, as well as families visiting the central garden, museum, and large kids' cafe on weekends. Through this, the company aims to further expand its content IP and customer touchpoints.
The existing flagship store, The Teenieping Seongsu, which opened on December 24, 2025, has welcomed a cumulative 78,000 visitors as of May 2026, averaging about 13,000 visitors per month, solidifying its status as the brand's representative space. Building on this success, the company plans to accelerate the expansion of its brand stores.
The new store features a pastel-toned character room concept, bringing the world of The Teenieping to life within the space. Signature areas reflecting the characters and brand identity have been designed to allow visitors to naturally experience the content.
The store will sell customizable figures called ‘MYPING,’ allowing customers to create their own characters, as well as toys and merchandise featuring SAMG Entertainment’s major intellectual properties, and products such as ‘Hachuping Essential.’ To celebrate the opening, a Hachuping fan signing event and a gacha event will also be held.
SAMG Entertainment is continuously expanding offline touchpoints for its content IP through its brand stores. A company representative stated, “The brand store is the space where content IP and customers meet most closely. We will continue to increase opportunities for customers to enjoy content in their daily lives through various offline projects such as brand stores and pop-ups, while continuously strengthening the connection between the brand and our customers.”
Meanwhile, ahead of the August release of the movie 'Hachuping of Love: Legend of the Whale Jewel,' SAMG Entertainment plans to operate pop-up stores at Lotte World Tower from July 17 to August 30, and at COEX from July 31 to August 30. The pop-ups will feature new merchandise using movie artwork, key IP products, and various experiential content.
