Cheongyang County Imposes July Property Tax... Payment Due by the 31st
Individual Housing Prices Rise by 1.43% Compared to Last Year
Cheongyang County, Chungnam, announced on July 13, 2026, that it has imposed the regular July property tax (for residential and building properties) amounting to 1.53 billion won.
According to the county, this represents an increase of 22 million won (5.14%) for residential properties and 63 million won (6.26%) for buildings compared to last year.
Additionally, the number of cases has risen by 313 to 24,155, up from 23,842 cases imposed during the same period last year, and the tax amount has increased by 88 million won.
The main reason for the increase in property tax is attributed to a 1.43% rise in individual housing prices.
The payment period is from July 16 to July 31.

A county official stated, "Property tax serves as an important resource for enhancing welfare and advancing local development," and urged, "Please make sure to pay within the deadline to avoid disadvantages such as additional late fees if the payment period is missed."
