A man in his 20s who posted multiple threats to kill President Lee Jaemyung on social media is expected to be referred to the prosecution as early as this week.
Jungbo Park, chief of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, stated at a press briefing on the 13th, "We have identified and arrested the suspect and completed the investigation," adding, "We plan to transfer the case soon."
The Hyehwa Police Station in Seoul recently booked Mr. A without detention on suspicion of making threats.
Mr. A is accused of posting five messages on his social media account at around 6:30 a.m. on the 6th, expressing his intent to kill President Lee.
