SK Chemicals Volunteers to Assemble 400 Emergency Relief Kits for Disaster Victims
Containing 30 Items from Food to Hygiene, Emergency, and Safety Supplies
Stored at Yeoju Logistics Warehouse, Distributed Within Three Days in Case of Disaster
SK Chemicals announced on July 13 that it held a volunteer event to assemble emergency relief kits at its headquarters in Pangyo, Seongnam as part of the "2026 Value Day" program.

View original imageThe kits include 30 different items such as food, hygiene products, emergency and safety supplies, daily necessities, and dehumidifiers, all of which are essential for disaster victims in the event of a disaster or accident. SK Chemicals members personally assembled a total of 400 emergency relief kits.
The completed kits were delivered to the social contribution NGO G Foundation, where they will be stored and managed at the Yeoju logistics warehouse. G Foundation will distribute the kits within three days to areas in urgent need of aid when disasters occur. G Foundation is an international development cooperation NGO that supports vulnerable groups both domestically and abroad and conducts disaster relief projects.
SK Chemicals plans to continue actively discovering and promoting ESG activities that contribute to solving issues faced by society, including the climate crisis and disasters, based on the participation of its employees.
Ko Jeongseok, Head of Management Support at SK Chemicals, said, "As the climate crisis intensifies, social uncertainty from disasters and other causes continues to increase. The company and its members will seek various ways to actively participate in addressing social issues and to prepare together."

Value Day is a social contribution program launched by SK Chemicals last year to support the happiness and recovery of vulnerable groups in the local community. Last year, SK Chemicals assembled 450 emergency relief kits, of which 150 were prioritized for households with disabilities affected by wildfires in Uiseong, Yeongyang, and Yeongdeok in North Gyeongsang Province.
