Gongyoung Home Shopping Unveils AI Models Gong Younghee and Youngunni
Utilized in Brand Films and Promotions
Supporting Promotion of SMEs
Gongyoung Home Shopping announced on July 13 that it will introduce new artificial intelligence (AI) models, "Gong Younghee" and "Youngunni." These models will be utilized across various promotional content, including brand films and promotions.
Gong Younghee, depicted in her 40s, is positioned as a model symbolizing trust and empathy, tasked with promoting Gongyoung Home Shopping's public value. Youngunni, portrayed in her 30s, will serve as a promotional model aimed at expanding connections with consumers. Going forward, both models will become the representative faces of Gongyoung Home Shopping, being featured in short-form content and on social networking services (SNS).
By introducing AI models, Gongyoung Home Shopping expects to build a consistent brand image while reducing content production costs. In particular, the company plans to actively use these two models to promote products from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and small business owners, thereby maximizing the effect of supporting their market access.
On April 7, Gongyoung Home Shopping launched a fashion program called "Fashion Follow Me," featuring AI models at the forefront. As of July 7, the program has achieved approximately 1.8 billion won in market support. "Fashion Follow Me" is a weekly Friday broadcast where AI models appear as virtual influencers to introduce fashion brand products from SMEs. AI technology is incorporated not only in the models but also in the studio backgrounds, videos, and music throughout the entire production process.
Gongyoung Home Shopping plans to continue actively adopting AI technology. After establishing the AI Content Department in January, the company will launch the AX Task Force in the second half of the year to accelerate its transition to artificial intelligence.
