GC MediAI and Rajenka AI Sign MOU for 'MediBaro' Working Capital Service for Clinics and Hospitals
GC MediAI announced on July 13 that it has signed a business cooperation agreement with healthcare fintech company Rajenka AI for joint marketing and data integration of 'MediBaro,' a customized working capital solution for clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies.

When clinics, hospitals, or pharmacies apply for the service, their available credit limit is determined based on their health insurance claim data. Within this limit, they can receive the necessary working capital in advance, before insurance claim payments are actually settled.
The most notable feature is that, by transferring health insurance claim receivables, MediBaro does not affect the credit limit or the Debt Service Ratio (DSR). All processes are conducted non-face-to-face and applications can be completed in about one minute. Even newly opened clinics or pharmacies with sales history can conveniently use the service.
Under this agreement, healthcare institutions using GC MediAI's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems 'Uisarang' and 'Upharm' can apply for the service via the MediBaro website. GC MediAI will then link the health insurance claim data of the applicant institution to the MediBaro system. Rajenka AI will promptly provide liquidity based on the integrated data, while KB Kookmin Card will be responsible for funding.
This agreement is part of GC MediAI's 'Medical OS' strategy. GC MediAI connects external partners' services with medical sites through its network of approximately 24,000 hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies nationwide. The company aims to establish an ecosystem that enables medical professionals to focus on patient care and clinic management.
Jintae Kim, CEO of GC MediAI, said, "We are building a business model that enables our partners to provide their respective services via GC MediAI's medical institution network," and added, "Our collaboration with Rajenka AI is part of our journey to go beyond being a simple EMR supplier and become the operating system (OS) of the healthcare ecosystem."
Taeju Lee, CEO of Rajenka AI, commented, "I have personally experienced the difficulties of having to wait for funds from insurance claims after providing medical services," and added, "Our goal is to create an environment where healthcare institutions can focus on their core business, based on our proven financial partnerships."
