Lytton Launches "User Committee" for Mainstreaming AI... "Strengthening User Trust and Safety"
Four Experts Including Sangwook Lee of Hanyang University Join

Lytton Technologies, an artificial intelligence (AI) service platform company, announced on July 13 that it officially launched its “User Committee” and held its first meeting on July 10.
The User Committee aims to strengthen ethical responsibility and user protection standards required by the growing integration of AI services into daily life. The committee includes Professor Sangwook Lee of Hanyang University’s Department of Philosophy (Chair), Professor Sun Jiweon of Hanyang University Law School, Professor Yoonhyung Lee of Yeungnam University’s Department of Psychology, and Attorney Hwang Hyejin of DLG Law Firm.
Lytton plans to operate the committee as a practical forum for discussions to maintain user trust. In particular, the company intends to combine perspectives from diverse fields such as AI ethics and philosophy, cognitive psychology, and law to review services from the user’s viewpoint, and to proactively reflect the outcomes of these discussions in its products and policies.
Se-Young Lee, CEO of Lytton, who attended the meeting, explained the background for forming the committee: “As Lytton has grown rapidly in recent years, the faster we move, the heavier the question becomes—are we neglecting any responsibilities behind the convenience of technology? We believe we must rise to the occasion and fulfill our responsibilities.”
He further emphasized, “We aim to provide safe and trustworthy services for everyone in a world where AI naturally becomes part of everyday life. We will carefully listen to the valuable opinions of external expert committee members and faithfully incorporate them into our products and policies.”
