Korea Investment Management's ACE AI Semiconductor TOP3+ ETF Leads SoBuJang ETFs in Returns
Korea Investment Management announced on July 13 that the ACE AI Semiconductor TOP3+ Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) ranked first in returns among all locally listed Materials, Parts, and Equipment (SoBuJang) ETFs.
According to KOSCOM ETF CHECK, as of the closing price on July 10, the ACE AI Semiconductor TOP3+ ETF recorded returns of 102.99% over six months, 139.28% year-to-date, and 309.81% over one year. These are the highest figures among the total of 17 Materials, Parts, and Equipment ETFs listed in Korea. The fund has maintained its top position not only in the short term but also across all mid- to long-term timeframes, demonstrating overwhelming competitiveness in the market.
This outstanding performance has led to a significant influx of capital. Since the beginning of this year, the total amount of funds flowing into the ACE AI Semiconductor TOP3+ ETF has reached 737 billion won. Notably, net purchases by individual investors alone amounted to 130.4 billion won. Analysts point out that while individual investors have realized profits during recent surges in large-cap semiconductor stocks, they continue to invest steadily in the mid- to long-term mega-trends of AI semiconductors and High Bandwidth Memory (HBM), reflecting strong conviction in these areas.
The secret behind the fund's market-leading results lies in its smart portfolio strategy. The ACE AI Semiconductor TOP3+ ETF invests approximately 80% of its total assets in three stocks: SK hynix and Samsung Electronics, which lead the global HBM market, and Hanmi Semiconductor, a key equipment supplier. By focusing on companies that pioneer large-scale data processing technologies essential for expanding AI infrastructure, the fund maximizes the benefits of high growth in the semiconductor industry.
