Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation Publishes 'Data-Driven Counties and Districts' Covering Job Trends in 31 Municipalities
The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation has published 'Data-Driven Counties and Districts,' which allows users to easily track population, industry, and job market changes across all 31 municipalities in the province.
This report was created for use by both local government officials and Gyeonggi-do residents, bringing together statistics previously scattered across various institutions to enable an intuitive understanding of the current status and trends of each city and county.
In particular, it is a data analysis report that provides a comprehensive overview of regional population structure, industrial base, and job market trends. Previously, users had to check statistics from each source agency separately, but the foundation has improved this process by consolidating key indicators for quick and easy reference.

The population section includes information such as population status by neighborhood, average age, household composition, and single-person households. The industry section covers gross regional domestic product (GRDP) and the number of businesses by sector, while the employment section offers useful indicators for understanding the regional economic structure, such as the number of employed people by occupational status, commuters working outside their residential area, and the active population in the region.
In addition to official public statistics, the report incorporates a wide range of data to further enhance its expertise. To reliably provide data on all 31 municipalities, the foundation introduced an automated report production system. This is expected to improve the efficiency of report publication and support data-driven administration and job policy development.
