Fire in Suwon Apartment: 1 Injured, 14 Evacuated
One person was injured in a fire that broke out in an apartment in Yeongtong-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi Province.
At around 5:43 p.m. on July 12, 2026, a fire broke out on the 13th floor of an apartment in Yeongtong-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi Province.
The resident of the unit, a man in his 40s identified as Mr. A, suffered minor injuries due to smoke inhalation and was taken to the hospital. Fourteen other residents evacuated the building on their own.
The fire was extinguished by the fire department in about 10 minutes after their arrival.
