Kim Seungwon, Chief of the General Situation Room at the West Sea Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, stated, "When the tide comes in, water can rise rapidly in a short period of time, making the risk of being stranded on a mudflat extremely high. As more visitors use the mudflats during the summer, we strongly urge everyone to check the tide tables and weather information before heading out, avoid entering hazardous areas, and strictly adhere to all safety guidelines to ensure your safety."
