President Lee Jaemyung received a revolver and six bullets as a gift from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye, the host country of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Summit.
According to the Office of the President on July 11, President Lee was presented with a revolver and six rounds of ammunition by President Erdoğan.
This was a standardized gift from President Erdoğan to all leaders who attended the NATO Summit held from July 7 to 8.
The revolver is believed to be a Turkish-made six-shot revolver, specifically the "Gumusay 357 Magnum," produced by a Turkish defense company in the 1990s.

The Office of the President stated, "The import of the firearm was approved in consultation with the National Police Agency by the Office of the President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs," and added, "The firearm will be safely transferred to the Presidential Archives under the management of the Presidential Security Service."
