The prosecution has conducted an additional search and seizure at Gwangsan Police Station in Gwangju in connection with the 'Jang Yoonki case' and has booked both the chief and the chief of the criminal investigation division as criminal suspects.

On July 10, the Gwangju District Prosecutors' Office dispatched investigators to Gwangsan Police Station, which investigated the high school girl murderer Jang Yoonki case, and carried out a search and seizure operation.
This marks the second compulsory investigation, coming just three days after the initial search and seizure focused on the investigative department on July 7. The prosecution has reportedly booked Chief A, who is currently suspended from duty, on charges of abetting the destruction of evidence, and seized items such as computers from his office. It is also reported that Chief B, the head of the criminal investigation division at the same station, has been booked on the same charges and is under investigation.
