Krafton announced on July 10 that it will host the "PUBG Mobile Rivals Cup (PMRC) 2026 Korea vs Japan," a Korea-Japan showdown for Battlegrounds Mobile.
This tournament features a national competition format where top Battlegrounds Mobile esports teams from Korea and Japan compete against each other. It will be held over two days starting on July 11. Eight teams from Korea, ranked 2nd to 9th in the "PUBG Mobile Pro Series (PMPS) 2026 Season 1," will participate, while eight teams from Japan will also join, making a total of 16 teams competing.
The winning team will earn a spot in the "2026 PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC)." The PMWC is a global tournament held in conjunction with the Esports World Cup (WEC).
