University student volunteer groups will visit rural regions to carry out not only voice phishing prevention education, but also basic health screenings, traditional medicine consultations, cultural and artistic experiences, and mural painting as part of their talent-sharing initiatives. KB Financial supports both the volunteers and local residents by providing educational materials for voice phishing prevention and operating the 'KB Good Food Truck' on-site.
Following the successful implementation of Season 1 in five cities and counties last year, KB Financial and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs have expanded the initiative this year to cover 15 cities and counties.
This year’s program began on July 9 in Gumi, North Gyeongsang Province, and will be conducted sequentially across rural areas nationwide. The educational materials focus on 11 major phishing techniques that have seen a recent increase in victims. Actual cases are explained in simple terms, including impersonation of investigative agencies or public offices, refinancing loan scams, impersonation of credit card companies, child abduction threats, and smishing, among others. The program also provides clear guidance on what to do in suspicious situations, such as ending the call immediately and reporting it by dialing '1394' without an area code. '1394' is the integrated reporting hotline for telecommunications financial fraud, and its number is intended to symbolize "people who save daily life (13), emergency (9), and others (4)."

This cooperation framework enables support for victims, including referrals for credit and psychological counseling, legal consultations, and specialized psychological counseling programs.
