This survey has been organized to design basic society policies—aimed at ensuring a humane life and fundamental rights for all citizens—in a way that fits citizens’ everyday lives. The city plans to use the survey results to identify the level of satisfaction with current policies, areas where support is needed, and expectations for the future of the basic society, and to incorporate these findings into the “Comprehensive Basic Society Plan (2026–2030)” to be established this year.
The survey covers a wide range of topics—from citizens’ awareness of the basic society, and their perception of current related policies, to directions for future policy development.
Gwangmyeong City’s policy is to closely analyze citizens’ real-life experiences and policy needs in order to realize the vision of a basic society that citizens desire through concrete policies.
Three hundred participants in the online survey will be randomly selected to receive coffee coupons.
Mayor Park Seungwon of Gwangmyeong City stated, “Since the basic society is a policy for citizens’ lives, the experiences they feel in daily life and the future they hope for must be faithfully reflected in the policy,” adding, “Based on citizens’ voices, we will create a society where basic needs are guaranteed for everyone.”
